Don Myers Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is actively seeking an outgoing, goal-driven, and clean-cut full-time HVAC / Plumbing Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a skilled HVAC / Plumbing Sales Manager to join our team. The role is essential to providing technical support to our installation team and work directly with customers to provide solutions to their needs and accurate, timely quotes.
  • Located in a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and growing our business.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment and/or plumbing issues to ensure optimal performance./li>
  • Visit job sites to provide accurate and timely quotes, and to support our technicians in the field when necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Develop new processes to ensure top notch customer satisfaction, with focus on growing revenue and our reputation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HVAC or plumbing Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose complex issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with design principles related to HVAC installations and plumbing applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining residential and commercial / industrial HVAC/R equipment.
  • Sales experience in working directly with customers and contractors.

  • Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a skilled plumber to join our team. The role is crucial in providing top-notch service and workmanship to our clients.
  • Located in a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
  • Follow building plans and blueprints.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, and ceiling work as required.
  • Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential plumbing experience
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
  • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • State of Indiana Plumbing license preferred
  • State of Ohio Plumbing license preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements:

  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude
  • Requires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills.
  • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and customer services skills.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
  • Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs
  • Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to assess electrical components of HVAC systems
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Document all service activities accurately for reporting purposes

  • Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is highly desirable. Prefer HVAC license applicable to Allen County, IN and Ohio.

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining residential and commercial / industrial HVAC/R equipment.
  • EPA universal certification required
  • NATE certification preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • OSHA 10 hour preferred
